Course Description: This course is a detailed study of sports head and neck injuries. You will gain sideline assessment pearls and treatment strategies while earning credits! The program begins with an in-depth review of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics. Next, you will analyze overuse versus traumatic injuries. The course progresses to thoroughly review the clinical evaluation of sports injuries to the head and neck including examination and imaging findings. Next, the class examines appropriate differential diagnosis prior to progressing to the application of office-based treatment options. Finally, you will master patient education tools to instruct in proper recovery and future injury prevention. The chiropractor course online program discusses numerous applications of conservative management to the care of the injured athlete.
