Course Description: Athletes frequently suffer rib-cage injuries. This comprehensive class covers the anatomy of the rib-cage and the mechanism of common rib-cage injuries. The course investigates consultation, examination and imaging techniques to diagnosis and treat athletes of all ages, sport level and abilities. This two hour presentation contains educational materials to improve in-office treatment and patient education strategies.

  • Description of conditions involving the rib-cage
  • Mechanism of sports-related rib-cage injuries
  • In-office chiropractic treatment and rehabilitation techniques
  • Patient education strategies for self-treatment, rehabilitation, and return to activity

  • Develop a better understanding of anatomy and physiology of the rib-cage
  • Increase clinical knowledge to properly diagnosis and treat sports and exercise associated rib-cage injuries
