Course Description: Athletes of all ages, sports, levels and abilities can suffer a fracture of the cervical spine. This comprehensive course explores the anatomy and physiology of the cervical spine with emphasis on the vertebrae. The class details the mechanism of injury of common cervical fractures conditions suffered by athletes. Navigation of the consultation, examination and imaging specifics to better diagnosis and treat athletes is covered in detail. This two hour presentation contains educational materials to improve treatment and patient education protocols.

  • Detailed explanation of cervical spine anatomy and physiology
  • Description of common cervical vertebral fractures and their mechanism of injury
  • In-office chiropractic diagnostic procedures
  • Patient education strategies for rehabilitation
