Oklahoma Chiropractic Continuing Education Requirements

For chiropractors practicing in Oklahoma, the state requires:

  • Annual Requirement: A total of 16 hours of CEU must be completed each renewal period by June 30th.

  • Online CEU Acceptance: Oklahoma allows up to 8 hours of online chiropractic CEU courses.

Course Accreditation

All our courses are facilitated by the Texas College of Chiropractic Postgraduate Education Department, a Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE) accredited college.

Course Approval Status

Once logged in, as long as your chiropractic licenses are on your account, each course will be clearly marked as approved or not approved for your jurisdiction.

Animal Chiropractic CEU

Animal chiropractic practitioners should note that AVCA certification is required. The AVCA mandates a requirement of 30 hours of CEU every three years.

New Licensee Information

Chiropractors who receive their license in Oklahoma must complete an orientation course approved by the Board within one year of licensure. The hours from this orientation count towards the annual Chiropractic CEU requirement.

Reporting Requirements

CEU sponsors are required to report to the State Board within 30 days. Licensees must also affirm their chiropractic CE completion and may need to provide additional documentation if audited.

Note: The Oklahoma chiropractic requirements listed here are based on the most current information available. Requirements are subject to change. Oklahoma chiropractic licensees are responsible for keeping updated with the CEU requirements.
