Understanding Ohio's CE Guidelines
Ohio has specific guidelines that chiropractors must follow to maintain their license:
- Biennial Requirement: Complete 36 hours of CE by March 31st of each even year.
- Course Acceptance: Ohio accepts 36 hours of online chiropractic continuing education courses and 36 hours of chiropractic webinar courses.
Special Requirements for Ohio Practitioners
- Board Mandated CE: A minimum of 2 hours must be in board-mandated CE topics, which can include ethics, professionalism, human trafficking awareness, and/or laws and rules of the board. Click HERE for awesome resources!
New Licensee Information
If you are a new licensee, you are exempt from chiropractic requirements for your first initial renewal only.
