 Georgia CE Requirements
Georgia chiropractors must complete at least 20 hours of continuing education each year, for a total of 40 hours during each two-year renewal period leading up to the December 31 (even-year) expiration date.

The Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners allows only 20 hours per biennial cycle to be obtained through audio, visual, or electronic media (such as online courses and webinars). The remaining hours must meet the Board’s attendance requirements. Live webinars are counted in this electronic-media category under current Board guidance.

Within these hours each year, chiropractors must complete:
  • 15 hours in clinical sciences (diagnosis, treatment, imaging, neurology, etc.)
  • 4 hours in ethics or risk management
  • 1 hour in Georgia laws & rules
New licensees are generally exempt from CE requirements in the calendar year of initial licensure; always confirm your specific status with the Board or CE Broker.
 Approved CE Categories
Georgia focuses heavily on clinical sciences. Common CE categories include:
  • Diagnostic imaging and radiology
  • Neurology and orthopedics
  • Rehabilitation and sports injuries
  • Nutrition and wellness
  • Pediatrics and geriatrics
  • Ethics, risk management, and professional boundaries
  • Georgia chiropractic law and jurisprudence
Practice management content is limited and should never make up more than a small portion of your total hours. When in doubt, confirm with the Georgia Board rules or the course listing in CE Broker before registering.

CCEDseminars offers Georgia-friendly bundles designed to help you hit your annual and biennial targets efficiently:

Frequently Asked Questions – Georgia Chiropractic CE

Q1: Can I complete all 40 Georgia CE hours online?
A: No. The Board allows only 20 hours per two-year renewal period via audio/visual/electronic media. The remaining hours must satisfy in-person attendance requirements as defined by the Board.

Q2: Do live webinars count as “online” or “attendance” CE?
A: Under current Board guidance, live webinars are credited in the audio/visual/electronic media category and count toward the 20-hour electronic limit rather than in-person attendance.

Q3: What mandatory subjects do I need each year?
A: Each year you must complete 15 hours of clinical sciences, 4 hours in ethics or risk management, and 1 hour in Georgia laws and rules.

Q4: Can I carry extra CE hours into the next renewal cycle?
A: No. Georgia does not allow carryover CE. Extra hours in one cycle cannot be applied to a future cycle.

Q5: When is my CE due for license renewal?
A: All CE for a renewal period must be completed by December 31 of even-numbered years, which matches the license renewal deadline.

Q6: How quickly will I get my CE certificate?
A: CCEDseminars issues certificates immediately upon course or webinar completion so you can upload or verify hours in CE Broker as needed.

Q7: Are CCEDseminars courses accepted in Georgia?
A: CCEDseminars offers Board-friendly CE that is managed through CE Broker. Courses that are accepted in Georgia are clearly labeled in the catalog; always verify Georgia eligibility in the course details before registering.

Q8: Where can I review the official Georgia CE rules?
A: Visit the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners website and the Board’s CE FAQ for the most current laws and rules, as requirements may change.

This summary is based on guidance from the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners and related CE resources as of December 2025. Always confirm current CE requirements with the Board or CE Broker before renewing your license.
