Texas TBCE CE Requirements (Who This Webinar Is For)

Texas chiropractors must complete 16 hours of CE each year. Under TBCE Rule §73.1, at least 4 hours are board-required topics that must be completed live, including ethics, rules, documentation/coding, and risk management.

  • Annual CE total: 16 CE hours per year.
  • Board-required live hours: minimum 6 live CE hours annually.
  • Board-required topics: ethics/rules/documentation/coding + risk management.
  • Reporting year: begins on the first day of your birth month.

Texas also requires an HHSC-approved human trafficking prevention training course for renewal. Currently, this training does not count toward your 16 CE hours.

This live ethics webinar is built specifically for Texas chiropractors who need TBCE board-required credit as part of their renewal plan.

Live vs Online Hours & Reporting

Board-required topics must be completed live. After meeting those hours, Texas allows up to 10 additional CE hours per year through non-live, board-approved online courses under TBCE Rule §73.1(c).

  • Live credit: earned by attending the full webinar and completing any required attendance checks.
  • Certificates: download immediately after completion and retain for audits.
  • Renewal timing: CE is due annually by the first day of your birth month.

Always confirm your individual renewal status and any rule updates directly with TBCE.
