  2. Construct defensible SOAP notes for new-patient intakes, re-examinations, and daily visits.
  3. Link clinical findings to diagnosis and coding in ways that reduce professional risk and audit exposure.
  4. Identify charting red flags that elevate liability — and implement workflows to neutralize them.

Frequently Asked Questions

About This Webinar

How long do I have access to the live webinar replay?

Live broadcast attendance is required for the full 2 CE hours.

What format is the webinar and what device do I need?

The webinar streams live in HD video with live Q&A chat and case-review polling. Any device with a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and stable internet works — desktop, laptop, tablet, or phone. No app install required.

What does the 2 CE hours include — and how are they categorized?

The 2 hours cover the live presentation, case-review polling, live Q&A with Dr. Hall, and a downloadable SOAP & audit-readiness checklist. Credit is reported as 1 hour Risk Management + 1 hour Documentation/Coding — matching the TBCE specialty categories.

Will I get a CE certificate, and how is it reported?

Yes. Your certificate is generated immediately upon completion and available to you in your account. CCEDseminars auto-reports your CE to CE Broker and applicable state boards — no manual submission required.

TBCE Documentation & Risk Management CE

What are the Texas chiropractic continuing education requirements?

Texas DCs must complete 16 CE hours annually, including a minimum of 2 hours in Ethics, 1 hour in Risk Management, and 1 hour in Documentation/Coding. This webinar fulfills the Risk Management and Documentation specialty hours in a single live session.

How many Risk Management and Documentation CE hours do Texas chiropractors need?

TBCE requires 1 Risk Management CE hour and 1 Documentation/Coding CE hour per renewal cycle, alongside 2 Ethics hours. This live webinar covers both specialty categories in one evening. Pair it with a CCED Ethics course to complete your full 4-hour specialty stack.

What counts as an “audit-ready” chart?

Audit-ready charts share four traits: (1) signed informed consent on file, (2) SOAP notes that document medical necessity honestly, (3) clear treatment plans with measurable goals, and (4) coding that ties directly to the clinical findings in the note. These standards apply whether your records are EHR, paper, or hybrid — payers and boards look at the substance, not the format.

Do live webinars count for Texas Risk Management and Documentation CE credit?

Yes. TBCE accepts live, interactive online webinars for full Risk Management and Documentation CE credit when delivered by a Board-approved provider. CCEDseminars is Board & PACE Provider. Texas doctors are required to complete 6 live/webinar hours of the 16-hour annual requirement; 10 hours may be taken in online/on-demand courses.
