Peptides are small; their potential in tissue healing, recovery, and performance is anything but — and this 2-hour live webinar with Dr. Howard Benedikt separates the oral peptide strategies with real clinical evidence from the injectable and research-only compounds that dominate the marketing. The course goal is plain: explore the science of peptides and identify evidence-informed, oral supplement strategies that complement chiropractic care. Dr. Benedikt organizes the field around four clinical outcomes — restore tissue healing and integrity, reduce inflammation and pain pathways, rebuild recovery, adaptation, and performance, and reconnect the gut–tissue axis for systemic health — and grades every compound on a three-level evidence scale: strong (well-researched oral strategies with clinical support), emerging (promising research, more human data needed), and experimental (primarily injectable or research-only).

Howard Benedikt, DC, DCBCN — instructor of this webinar — is a Diplomate and Executive Member of the Chiropractic Board of Clinical Nutrition and the clinical nutrition and functional medicine faculty for CCEDseminars. A graduate of National University of Health Sciences with an M.S. in Human Nutrition from the CW Post campus of Long Island University, Dr. Benedikt teaches practical, evidence-informed nutrition strategies for metabolic health, inflammation, and clinical decision-making, and his sessions — including autonomic nervous system regulation and chiropractic nutrition for healthy aging — emphasize clinical relevance, practical protocols, and the responsible use of nutritional assessment in chiropractic practice.

Where Live Hours Count — State Rules Worth Knowing
Texas: under Texas Administrative Code §73.1, licensees complete 16 hours of CE each year — the Board-required topics in a live format, plus additional live or webinar hours, with the balance available online. This clinical webinar counts toward the live-format hours beyond the Board-required block; for the Board-required block itself, see Ethics: TBCE Required & PACE Approved and Documentation & Risk: Audit-Ready Workflows. Other states: many boards require that a portion of each renewal cycle's hours be earned in a live format, and most accept PACE-approved live webinars toward that portion; nutrition and clinical-topic allowances vary. Which peptides actually have evidence, and what about BPC-157?
The course grades every compound on a three-level evidence scale.
