Course Description: This program will focus on soft tissue injuries. The program begins with an in-depth review of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of soft tissue. Next, you will analyze overuse versus traumatic injuries. The program progresses to thoroughly review the clinical evaluation of sports injuries to the soft tissue including examination and imaging findings. Next, the program examines appropriate differential diagnosis prior to progressing to the application of office-based treatment options. Finally, you will master patient education tools to instruct in proper recovery and future injury prevention. The online chiropractic continuing education program discusses numerous applications of conservative management to the care of the injured athlete.
