Course Description: Persons of all ages, sports, fitness levels and abilities can experience lumbar spine pain. This chiropractic continuing education online course covers the anatomy of the lumbar spine and the injury mechanism of several lower back conditions. The class teaches consultation, examination and imaging specifics to better diagnosis and treat osteoarthritis, disc degeneration, Schmorl’s nodes and facet syndrome. This presentation emphasizes educational materials to better perform in-office treatment and to improve patient education techniques.

  • Description of conditions involving the joints of the lumbar spine.
  • Mechanism of sports injuries of the lumbar spine.
  • In-office chiropractic treatment approaches.
  • Patient education strategies for management, rehabilitation & return to activity.
