Course Description: Athletes and non-athletes frequently experience upper extremity nerve entrapment conditions. This comprehensive class covers the anatomy of the upper extremity nerve supply. The chiropracticcontinuing education online course contains consultation and examination procedures to better diagnosis upper extremity nerve impingement.
This two hour presentation contains techniques and strategies to enhance in-office treatment and improve patient education to achieve improved outcomes and allow the patient to return to activity.
Course Outline: 

  • Description of anatomy and physiology of the upper extremity nerve supply.
  • Proper diagnosis of upper extremity nerve entrapment conditions.
  • In-office chiropractic treatment and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Patient education for rehabilitation and return to activity. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Develop a better understanding of anatomy and physiology of the upper extremity motor and sensory nerve supply.
  • Heighten clinical knowledge to properly diagnosis an upper extremity nerve impingement.
  • Learn skills to better educate patients in the prevention and recovery of nerve entrapment in the upper extremity.
  • Apply new tools in the treatment of upper extremity sports injuries.
