This is the applied continuation of Muscle as Medicine: Strength Training & Healthspan — where Part 1 built the biology case (sarcopenia as a mortality driver, myokine biology, and chair-side screening), this session focuses on the practical application of resistance-training principles within a longevity and healthspan framework. Attendees will explore foundational programming variables, exercise-selection strategies, recovery considerations, and movement prerequisites that support long-term physiologic resilience. Special emphasis is placed on adapting training for older adults, addressing frailty, developing power, and avoiding common exercise-prescription mistakes that impair function, recovery, and long-term adaptation. Dr. Arland J. Hill is Director of Clinical Education at Biotics Research Corporation. He lectured at Texas A&M College of Medicine from 2009 to 2024 and presents nationally for the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M). He maintains an active clinical practice at Genesis Wellness Center in Hillister, Texas.

His teaching translates current research in exercise physiology, resistance-training programming, and healthy-aging science into defensible, evidence-based protocols chiropractors can integrate within scope.
