If you hold Missouri's Meridian Therapy/acupressure/acupuncture certification, your renewal carries a second requirement most CE guides never mention. Under 20 CSR 2070-2.031(7), the certification renews with your license, and you must complete twelve hours of Board-approved meridian-therapy continuing education before expiration — dry needling doesn't count. The rule is generous in one respect: those twelve hours apply to your 24 formal hours rather than adding to them. So the acupuncture-certified DC's formal requirement is really 12 meridian therapy + 12 from at least one other category. This pack is the meridian-therapy 12.
Six clinical acupuncture courses from a chiropractic acupuncturist and a licensed acupuncturist: clean-needle technique, drain-the-pain techniques, diagnostic points, efficient protocols for common conditions, hot-acupuncture treatment protocols, and safety and risk. All meridian therapy by title and content, none dry needling. Twelve hours, six certificates, due February 28, 2027 with the rest of your biennium.
| Board requires | This pack delivers | Status |

| Must not include dry needling | Six meridian-therapy courses; no dry-needling content | Met |
| The 12 hours apply to the 24 formal hours (2.031(7)); formal must span 2+ of 5 categories (2.080(3)(A)) | Counts as formal category 5 (meridian therapy) — add 12 formal hours from at least one other category | 12 of 24 formal |
| Formal hours may be earned online with Board approval (2.080(4)) | 100% online, self-paced; PACE Provider #34015544 | Met |

Note: this pack is continuing education for an existing MTAA certification. Initial certification under 20 CSR 2070-2.031 requires 100 hours of study that may not be delivered electronically, plus examination — a separate pathway.

Twelve hours at $20 per credit hour = $240 base. Twelve hours crosses the 10+ tier, so the automatic 20% multi-hour discount applies at checkout — $192 total, a $48 savings. No promo codes. Need the other 12 formal hours too? Any 12 from the Missouri 24-Hour Formal Bundle's imaging, SOAP, or technique tracks completes your formal 24 with two categories represented.
Within. Rule 2.031(7) states the 12 hours of meridian-therapy continuing education apply to the 24 formal hours required to maintain the chiropractic license. So an MTAA-certified DC's formal 24 is 12 meridian therapy plus 12 from at least one other formal category; the total biennium stays at 48.
No. The rule states the 12 hours shall not include dry needling. None of the six courses in this pack is dry-needling content; all are meridian therapy, acupressure, or acupuncture by title and objectives.
Yes for continuing education. Formal hours may be earned via the Internet with Board approval under 2.080(4), and the Board accepts PACE-approved courses. Note the distinction from initial certification: the 100 hours of study required to obtain the MTAA certification may not be delivered electronically. This pack is CE for a certification you already hold.
Half of it. The formal 24 must span at least two of five categories; this pack is 12 hours of category 5 (meridian therapy). Add 12 formal hours from imaging, differential diagnosis, record keeping/SOAP, or techniques — the Missouri 24-Hour Formal Bundle's tracks are built for that — and the formal requirement is complete.
$240 base tuition ($20 per credit hour x 12), and the automatic 20% multi-hour discount at checkout brings it to $192 — a $48 savings, no promo codes. The MTAA certification renews with your license; Missouri's cycle closes February 28 of odd-numbered years.
