 Arkansas Chiropractic License Renewal Requirements

The Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners requires Board-approved continuing education for renewal. The Arkansas State Board requires completion of 24 hours per renewal period with all requirements met by December 31.

Arkansas does not automatically accept all PACE courses; each course must be pre-approved by the Board. CCEDseminars lists approval status on every Arkansas catalog course to remove guesswork.

Missed deadline may trigger reinstatement penalties and application review—complete CE at least two weeks before December 31.

 New Licensees (Prorated Hours)

CE may be prorated depending on your initial licensure date (e.g., July–December start may require fewer hours).

Confirm your exact requirement in the ASBCE portal or by contacting the Board.

 Accepted Online Hours / Reporting

Arkansas allows up to 12 hours of distance-based (online) CE when the course is Arkansas-approved.

  • Instant, printable certificates after each course (stored in your dashboard with receipts and transcripts).
  • Live webinars: attendance is automatically tracked; on-demand: brief post-tests confirm engagement.
  • Retain your records per Board guidance; we keep everything organized for audits.

Reporting is licensee-managed; include certificates with renewal documentation as directed by the Board.

 Mandatory Topics / Accepted Subjects

Content must be scientific and directly related to chiropractic practice. Popular Arkansas-approved topics include:

  • Documentation & Medical Necessity; Risk Management
  • Ethics/Jurisprudence; Professional Boundaries
  • Physical & Clinical Diagnosis; Technique
  • Radiology/X-ray Interpretation; Neurology; Pain Management
  • Pediatrics; Sports; Nutrition (as allowed by Board approval)

Use the Arkansas catalog filters to view only Board-approved courses by subject.

Course Options (On-Demand / Live Webinar)
  • On-Demand (Arkansas-approved): self-paced modules with knowledge checks; certificates issued instantly.
  • Live Webinars: real-time Q&A; attendance auto-verified.
  • Multi-state planning: PACE-Approved for many jurisdictions outside Arkansas—handy if you maintain multiple licenses.
