Texas Chiropractic College affiliate · PACE Provider #34015544 · Type 1 clinical hours for Virginia renewal · Instant per-course certificates

Virginia simplified its rule in 2025: thirty Type 1 clinical hours every two years, no mandated topics, renewed in your birth month. That freedom cuts both ways — no checklist to satisfy, but also no checklist to lean on. This bundle is the checklist: fifteen clinical courses chosen the way a Virginia DC would build a real biennium — DACBR-taught trauma radiology, fellowship neurology, orthopedic and rehab management from spine to extremity, evidence-based imaging decisions, nutrition and geriatric care, sideline emergency medicine — every hour Type 1, every certificate ready for the six-year file the Board can audit.

Type 1 hours in chiropractic must be clinical hours approved by a CCE-accredited college or another organization the Board recognizes. Every course here is clinical by design — no coding, no compliance filler — and CCEDseminars is affiliated with Texas Chiropractic College and recognized as FCLB PACE Provider #34015544. Fifteen courses, eight faculty, one Virginia biennium.

Six Years, Thirty Days — the Audit Rule

Virginia renewal is by attestation — you certify the hours; the Board audits at random. If selected, you must produce all supporting documentation within 30 days, and you must retain it for six years after each renewal. Failure to comply may subject you to disciplinary action. Every certificate in this bundle is generated instantly on completion and stays in your CCEDseminars account, so the audit file builds itself. Full requirements: Virginia chiropractic CE guide.

Virginia 30-Hour Bundle — Frequently Asked Questions

Does this bundle satisfy Virginia's full biennial CE requirement?

Yes. Virginia requires at least 30 hours of Type 1 continuing learning activities in the two years preceding renewal, with no mandated topics for chiropractic. This bundle delivers 30 hours across 15 clinical courses from a Texas Chiropractic College-affiliated, PACE-recognized provider. Confirm your personal obligations with the Virginia Board of Medicine.

Are these Type 1 hours?

Type 1 hours in chiropractic are clinical hours approved by a college or university accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education, or another organization approved by the Board. Every course in this bundle is clinical content, and CCEDseminars is affiliated with Texas Chiropractic College and recognized as FCLB PACE Provider #34015544.

Didn't Virginia require 60 hours?

Not anymore. The former 60-hour structure (30 Type 1 plus up to 30 Type 2) was replaced by amendment effective February 27, 2025. The current rule under 18VAC85-20-235 is at least 30 hours, all Type 1. Some third-party sites still show the old figure.

When is my Virginia renewal due, and is my first renewal exempt?

Renewal is biennial, in your birth month. Your first biennial renewal after initial Virginia licensure is exempt from continued-competency requirements. Thereafter, complete your 30 hours within the two years preceding each renewal. The Board may grant a one-year extension for good cause if you request it in writing before your renewal date.

Do I still need the human-trafficking hour?

Under Virginia Code § 54.1-2928.3 the Board of Medicine may direct up to 2 of your 30 hours into a topic it designates for a given renewal cycle. It required 1 hour of human-trafficking education for the 2024 and 2025 cycles, satisfiable from any reputable source at no cost. Whether a topic is designated for the current cycle is the Board's call and is announced before January 1 — check the Board's continuing-education page before you renew. This bundle covers your 30 Type 1 hours; a designated-topic hour, if required, comes from within those 30 and can be earned separately.

How much does the bundle cost, and can I swap a course?

$600 base tuition ($20 per credit hour x 30), and the automatic 20% multi-hour discount at checkout brings it to $480 — a $120 savings, no promo codes. To swap a course, build your own cart from the Virginia-approved course list instead: any 10+ hours earns the same 20% automatically.
